Reporting blueprints and requesting removals

Beltworks hosts both native uploads and imported public-archive listings. Most of that content is ordinary factory design. When something is wrong—spam, misleading copies, or an author who wants an old import taken down—we need a clear report with a URL.

Report a listing (any user)

1. Open the print page.

2. Use Report (it deep-links into Contact with the print id filled in).

3. Tell us what is wrong: spam, scammy description, malicious-looking string, impersonation, or other policy issue.

4. Include any extra context (duplicate of another page, broken string, etc.).

You do not need an account to send the contact form. We review reports as quickly as we can; not every report removes a page (for example, “I dislike this build” is not enough).

Author removal for imported prints

If you published a design on FactorioPrints / Factorio School and want the Beltworks import hidden or removed:

Send the Beltworks URL and the original source URL.

Show that you control the original authorship (matching author name, account evidence, or other proof).

Say whether you want a hide (not listed in search) or a full removal.

We err on the side of authors for clear ownership requests. Purely archival interest does not override a legitimate takedown ask.

Native uploads you own

If you uploaded a blueprint while signed in to Beltworks, manage it from your account tools where available, or contact us with the print URL if something is stuck. Revisions and deletes for native content are handled on Beltworks directly.

What we moderate proactively

Empty or nonsense spam uploads.

Strings that look like malware / phishing payloads rather than Factorio blueprints.

Stolen identity in titles or descriptions when reported with evidence.

Thin imported rows may already be soft-deindexed; that is not the same as deletion.

Privacy and ads note

Reports go through the contact pipeline (email), not through advertisers. AdSense units are not shown on the thinnest imported pages. See Privacy and FAQ for how advertising partners are used on richer article and print pages.
