Beltworks ("we", "us") operates belt-works.com, an unofficial community archive for Factorio blueprints. This policy explains what we collect and why.

Information we collect

Account details you provide (email, display name, password hash).
OAuth profile details if you sign in with Google or GitHub.
Content you upload (blueprint strings, titles, descriptions, tags).
Favorites and collection memberships tied to your account.
Basic server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for security and reliability.
Analytics data via Google Analytics and Amplitude (pages viewed, approximate region, device/browser, and when signed in a user id).
Advertising data if Google AdSense is enabled (cookies or similar technologies used to show and measure ads). See Google Ads policies.

How we use information

We use account and content data to operate the site: authentication, publishing, search, favorites, collections, moderation, and abuse prevention. Analytics help us understand which features are used so we can improve Beltworks. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies & similar tech

We use session cookies for sign-in. Analytics and advertising partners may set additional cookies when those services are enabled. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may limit sign-in or personalization.

Data processors

Depending on configuration, we may use hosting providers, Postgres database hosting, Google (Analytics / AdSense / OAuth), GitHub (OAuth), and Amplitude (product analytics). Each processor handles data under their own terms and policies.

Retention

Account and content data are kept while your account remains active and the content stays published. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security. You may request deletion of your account or uploaded content as described below.

Children

Beltworks is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices

Update your profile details while signed in.
Delete or edit native blueprints you uploaded.
Email hello@belt-works.com to request account deletion, access to your data, or removal of an imported listing you authored (include URLs and proof of authorship).
