Hello! I just want to present you my little project I've been working on in the last few days.
This logistic factory takes a full red belt of iron, a yellow belt and a half of copper, a coal belt with 5 electric miners, a stone belt with 2 electric miners and enough oil and water to craft every science pack at a rate of 0.1/s.
I tested this design in a railworld (that's why the blueprint use trains for inputs instead of belts) and it seems to work well: at the beginning all the buffers need to be fulled (and so it takes around three hours to build the first rocket), but with the second rocket its costruction takes exactly 166.6 minutes and this is equivalent to 0.1 white science pack per second.
The optimal number of logistic robots needed is two hundred if you have Worker robot speed 4 (+175% speed bonus) and Worker robot cargo size 2 (+2 cargo size).
If you want to reach 1RPM you need to build 167 of these factories. It won't be efficient to build 167 different rocket silos, but you can try. In the meantime I will probably try to build a compact factory like this one but with modules and more throughput.
As always I have to thank Factorio Planner for helping me calculate ratios and throughputs needed.
If you need a non-logistic factory for early game science, check out my other blueprint book.
