The new design uses 8 beacons, nearly twice efficient in terms of production rate, size, building cost, and entity update. Each unit produces 924 packs/min. The number may seems awkward, but it's the result of strictly following the 5:6:5:12:7:7 ratio. Everything I said to my old design applies to the new one. Left & right does not matter when having mixed belt/half belt input.
How to tile: Click and drag. The rows of beacons on both sides will be shared.
Note: In the rocket block, the pipes are internally connected, so you won't need more pipe inputs if the existing ones can provide enough throughput.
I have included the 504/min old design in the book as well, I guess it can be useful if you want a smaller factory, or use it as a stepping stone.
