Tired of sending every little thing to your space platform? Tired of rebuilding your MALL on every planet? Tired of building the entire factory on the space platform? Confused about how other Auto MALLs work? Use this blueprint (and theory) to build common items on your space platform using as few assemblers as possible by smartly switching the set recipe in the assembler based on available items and needs. Now includes a SR (set-reset) latch to prevent recipe switching loops.
This blueprint relies on iron plates, steel, and copper wire being in the space platform cargo to manufacture items. Iron and steel you can manufacture in space immediately while copper wire (and or plates) can be shipped up. The blueprint can easily be updated to include copper when you finally have advanced asteroid mining. The circuits will look for missing components, check if the requirements are met, and set the signal to the SR latch. The SR latch will set the recipe on the assembler until it receives the 'reset' signal from the assembler as a 'recipe finished' signal to then check for an updated needed recipe.
