Ever needed so much plastic that you just want every last drop of oil to be available for plastic? I'm honestly surprised I couldn't find a similar setup on here so I just made one myself.
Input
- Crude oil (up to 160 crude oil per second)
- Water (up to 160 water per second)
- Coal (up to 7.2 coal per second)
Output
- Plastic (up to 14.4 plastic per second, just a little more than a full yellow belt)
Calculations
- Using the good enough perfect ratio 8:1:7
- 1 refinery in advanced oil processing should create 18 petroleum per second after cracking
- Comes down to 18 x 8 = 144 petroleum per second
- That is 4 chemical plants making plastic running at 180% each.
If you don't have spare Speed 3's laying around, you will need to achieve a 80% increase averaged over the 4 plants. The cheapest module combination for this would be
- 2 machines with 2x Speed 1 and 1x Speed 2
- The other 2 machines with 3x Speed 2
The blue belts really don't matter. You can replace them with reds without any complications. Run them the other direction at will.
Enjoy!
