Credit to the OP Kyoshi: https://factorioprints.com/view/-LdmDZfDeM-ElByLLEwT I just fixed some copper wire delivery issues, removed nanobots and moved a power pole or two.
OG Description: For me, a lot of Starter base is way too big for "early" game. Hardly a starter, many of them required me to build a smaller base. I won't call it starter base at all.
So..the idea is to built the base as you went through basic tech. You built one segment one at a time, NO NEED FOR DECONSTRUCT the previous base, simply plop the new blueprint on top the previous one.
You don't built this on one go. Just follow the order. And it's only one chunk in size, really small both in footprint and in resources.
I don't claim this as the most performance (ratio) base ever, hardly the case, but it's decent enough for me. After all, it's one chunk base, don't expect a otherworldly performance obviously.
WHAT you produce in this Book :
Yellow Logistic (Belt, Underground, Splitter) Pipe & Underground Pipe Electric Mining Drill Yellow, Red, Blue and Green Inserter Ammo (Normal & Piercing) Wall Rail Medium & Big Electric Pole Nanobot (If you're not using the mod, there's obviously will have empty space to built whatever you like) Also another thing, the chain production is set in a way so that a dependency item will reach certain threshold first before the next item get built.
eg : Basic Inserter have to reach 50 in a wooden box before the next tier inserter started to built.
Priority goes like this :
Yellow Belt 200 -> Underground Belt 100 ->Splitter 50 All must reach 50 : Yellow -> Red -> Blue -> Green Inserter Pipe 100 -> Underground Pipe 50 Normal Ammo 200 -> Piercing Ammo 400 Medium Electric Pole 50 ->Big Electric Pole 50 ->Rail 500 The only thing that didn't depend on previous item stockpiles is the wall, but i limit to 1 K (due inventory player reason)
So, if you see an assembler didn't produce anything, it's because the previous item get stockpiled first.
