Introduction
This blueprint combines production of Speed Module 3 and Blue Circuits/Speed Module 1 in a single production setup. End game requires producing blue circuits and speed modules 1 for crafting RCU (Rocket Control Unit). This blueprint is able to conditionally produce Blue Circuits/Speed Modules 1 or Speed Modules 3.
Speed Modules 3 are produced when requested by logistic network else it produces Blue Circuits and SM1.
How it works?
Some simple logic blocks belts conveying Speed Module 1 and Blue Circuit if chest containing Speed Module 3 has not at least 50 items in. Once this threshold has been reached, the belts are unlocked. Speed Module 1 and Blue Circuits are now free to flow to the outside for RCU production. Those Blue Circuits and Speed Modules 1 can then be used to produce RCU for rocket.
How to use?
Feed it. The Speed Modules 3 chest is a passive provider chest. Link the roboport to your logistic network for automatic installation of Speed Module 3.
Requirements for maximum output
There is two versions of the blue print: one with integrated oil processing for plastic and acid and one without integrated oil processing.
The oil processing blue print has to be fed with:
- Copper Plate (about 6.7K/mn or about 3 blue belts)
- Iron Plate (about 4.7K/mn or about 2 blue belts equivalent)
- Coal (about 850/mn)
- Oil (13k/mn)
- Water (18k/mn)
The non oil processing one has to be fed with:
- Copper Plate (about 6.7K/mn or about 3 blue belts)
- Iron Plate (about 4.7K/mn or about 2 blue belts equivalent)
- Plastic (about 2k/mn)
- Acid (1K/mn)
Production rates
Both designs produce at about the same rate.
- Speed Modules 3: 8 per minute
or
- Speed Module 1: ~230 per minute
- Blue circuits: ~230 per minute
