Ready for the new plasma flow change in 2.1 and still works in 2.0.77.
Here some extra information:
The basic design is not really modular by itself, but once you merge 4 of them with mirroring and such, it become easily modular (the 4x version).
The real limit is the pipe length, but you get 79.6GW of power at this point and using a few pump in between can make it endless provided you use enough pump.
You can easily upgrade all Fusion reactor/generator to higher quality for even more power.
For the cooling, it’s up to you really.
It takes a bit of time (a few minutes) to get going and stabilize as per my test in the editor.
- Basic design: basic does the job. ~360MW per Reactor.
- Side to side: give a little neighbour bonus 7.6GW instead of the expected 7.2GW. ~380MW per Reactor.
- Top bottom: It's shit, don't use it, there's no advantage over the side to side design.
- 4x: Modular, 15.6GW instead of the expected 14.4GW. ~395MW per Reactor.
Flaws that are features: there will be inactive fusion generator because some are only used in the bigger version due to neighbour bonus. You can always delete the useless one.
Feel free to tinker and improve it, it’s clearly not the best, but it’s a simple design easy to paste.
PS: Wasn't sure if I'm supposed to call this modular or tileable. I'm thinking tileable need to use snap to grid feature, which I think wouldn't work here. So I went for modular.
