This small fort makes everything you need early game, up to red research. It provides the player with all the items needed to hand craft the things needed to kickstart a bus with smelters and production of more items.
Makes the following items:
- Red Science
- Iron Gear
- Green Circuit
- Ammo
- Belt
- Steel (for a steel axe and a heavy armor)
- Stone Brick and Wall
Other features:
- Trash chest (for pistol, coal miners and other unwanted items)
- Surrounded by a wall with only 1 structure touching the wall
- Quad Turret defense
- Lights for at extra vision at night
- Can be upgraded with a few fast inserters and assembling machine 2's if wanted.
To feed this once I upgraded to fast inserters and assembly machine 2's I used 24 iron smelters, 6 copper smelters and 4 stone miners. The smelters were all fed through direct feeding.
