Agricultural Towers book for harvesting fruits on Gleba
Contains several blueprints for fruit harvesting with Agricultural Towers.
Properties:
- Seeds are bot-based
- Full roboport coverage for all towers, so seeds can always arrive
- Tileable to the sides
- Several blueprint versions included
- Use the stack inserter versions if you already unlocked them
- Use the bulk inserter versions if you have not unlocked stack inserters yet
- Stack inserters dynamically change hand size depending on the content, so they will not get stuck with trash
Notes:
- I do not like seeds on belts, because you can easily get into situations where seeds are stuck in the wrong places while other towers are starving for seeds.
- To allow full roboport coverage, the lane between the upper and lower towers is used for output and for roboports. Because of that, this lane is not used by the towers themselves. There may be denser solutions for belt-based seeds, but I decided I prefer full seed coverage here.
