Description
The Refinery (.17)
this is my blueprinbook for everything with oil (all recipies for chemical plants).
(blue-) belted (almost no robots), fully 8-beaconed, tileable, vanilla!
this refinery is composed of modules which can be stacked (like the other bps at the end of the description).
>click< for more information about how it works
each module consists of multiple parts (from left to right):
- unloading station
- crude oil cracking / coal liquefaction and HO/LO cracking
- buffer (or bus)
- consumer (eg. plastic or batteries)
- loading station (and some unloading stations for intermediate products)
module components

-unloading stations are balanced unloaded. each water station can be replaced by an offshore pump.
-i've chosen 7 refineries because those can be supplied by a single offshore pump.
- the conditions for the fluid pumps at the buffer
| when liquid | from | to |
|---|---|---|
| <10k | storage | buffer |
0 | buffer | consumer (same module chem. plants, eg. plastic) 15k | buffer | storage 20k | buffer | cracking (same module chem. plants, eg. HO cracking)
- all consumers will consume (a little) more than the attached refineries can supply.
- (un-)loading stations are balanced (un-)loaded.
the (more or less) exact production numbers (i/s):
Refinery SolidFuel/RocketFuel:
this will consume slighly more light oil as its attached refineries can produce. so when either (solid fuel or rocket fuel) are backed-up the other one can work under full load.
max output: 11,25 rocket fuel (≙80 solid fuel), 50 solid fuel

Refinery Batteries:
overproduced sulfuric acid is sent to storage
max output: 87 batteries

Refinery Plastic:
max output: 153 plastic

Refinery Sulfur/SulfurAcid/Lubricant:
max output: 106 sulfur, 590 sulfur acid, 355 lubricant

Refinery Explosives:
this is the only one which uses coal liquefaction.
it will request a couple of heavy oil barrels to start (not necessary when there is a storage with heavy oil).
max output: 162 explosives

Refinery FT-Ammo/LubricantBarrel/SulfurAcidBarrel:
the refineries aren't necessary here, they will just feed into the storage directly (you can remove them if you want).
empty barrels can/should be brought back with the same train.
max output: 8,6 FT-Ammo, lots of each barrel

additional modules:
Refinery PG-Barrel/LO-Barrel/HO-Barrel:
empty barrels can/should be brought back with the same train.
max output: lots of each barrel

Refinery PG/LO/HO LiquidBreakOut:
if you need PG, LO or HO somewhere else.
max output: 1 pipe

storage:
should be attached to refinery setups with more than 1 module. only one storage is required per complex. always at the bottom of the first module (between the stackers).
Refinery Storage big
i recommend this for big setups. it will store up to 400k of each liquid. has lamp indicator: red < 40k, after that each lamp represents ~10% storage.

Refinery Storage small
i recommend this for stand alone or small setups. it will store up to 25k of each liquid. has lamp indicator: red < 5k, yellow < 20k, green > 20k.

i've added a stacker (incl. additional stackertracks) to the BP book. the trains can be scheduled with idle time or (my recommendation) empty/full cargo. the trainstops are 'intelligent', they will turn on as soon a full trainload can be loaded/unloaded. the trainstations are for LHD and 2L4W trains. i recommend at least 3 trains per resource (station name). i'va also added larger stations, if you want to use longer trains (3L8W). just replace the preprinted stations.
