Compact 1 science per second from raw materials
This late game compact base produce 1 of each science per second , consumed on site, directly from raw materials.
No mods required, use v0.17 ratio
Production modules are used everywhere when possible to lower input requirements
Assuming all sciences are consumed by the current research, this base consumes per second approx:
- 64 Iron Ore
- 49 Copper Ore
- 14 Stones
- 10 Coal
- 135 Crude Oil
- 171 Water
Using a 3 Iron, 2 Copper, 1 Oil, 1 Water, 1 Stone+Coal train setup, it requires a refill every 80sec
It uses approx 400 MW of power
All ratios are done with at least a 2% overproduction margin (cascading down the requirements) to allow some backup to build up and a smooth production after some initialization time (~20min)
Some output limiters (circuit network clock and inserter) are put at the science productions to give exactly 1science/s and build a backup down the line.
Inputs are on the left, signaled by a filter inserter with the required raw. From top to bottom: Iron ore, Stone, Coal, Iron Ore, Copper Ore, Copper Ore, Stone, Water, Crude Oil
Size: 126 x 72 tiles
This is a proof of concept, I'm working on a more compact setup (for example the smelting could be made more compact)
