Mostly direct insertion Kovarex process. Ensure a steady supply of U-235 in the logistics network, then manually insert 40 U-238 into one of the machines to start the process. It produces surplus U-235 a bit later than what is theoretically possible, and the tradeoff is that the design is simple and foolproof.
