This is a perfect ratio (probably?), tileable, setup for Bob's Deuterium reactors.
Note on mods:
It uses Bob and Angel's full modpacks. As far as I know, the only item from Angel's actually used is the Gas Tank, but I'm not sure about how exactly Bob and Angel's interact so I'm listing both full modpacks to be sure.
In addition, Assembler Pipes Passthrough is used to let the land pumps pass water through both sides in addition to allow more meaningful rotations of the said 2×2 pump. This one is optional, but if you're using the pumps, you'll need to rotate them differently. Otherwise, you can go for the landfill version or the waterfill one. (Requires Dectorio.)
Now for the maths:
1 Deuterium Reactor = 90 MW
1 Heat Exchanger 3 = 18 MW
1 Steam Turbine 3 = 9 MW
The initial ratio is 1:5:10. But this setup (obviously) makes use of the neighborhood bonus, bringing each reactor (except the two at each end of the row) to 300%, meaning (ignoring these) each Deuterium Reactor brings 270 MW to the table. With that, the ratio becomes: 1:15:30 for a total of…
8 Reactors, 120 Heat Exchangers 3 and 240 Steam Turbines 3 per tile. The reason I chose 8 reactors per tile? I couldn't get the thing to be symmetrical, look good and actually work with less than that. And obviously, more weren't required to make it tileable.
Usage:
- Place “The Whole Thing” and tile it according to your needs if you're using the recommended mods.
- Place “Reactors”, “Heat Exchangers”, “Tanks” and “Turbines” in a line as you see fit if you're using the waterfill version. Use force build to ignore the pumps and place the waterfill, then place the pumps once the waterfill is done.
If you're using the landfill version, find a lake (large enough to host the heat exchangers at the left and right of each reactor and long enough to give you room to expand) and landfill some room for the Reactors. Then place the Heat Exchangers (landfill) while using force build to place the landfill, then again when the landfills are done. After that, same thing as the waterfill version.
Final notes:
-
The Robot Chests are here for quick deployment but aren't strictly needed. Likewise, most of the Logistic Zone Expanders aren't actually necessary, but you know. It had to be symmetrical. Really. That's… um… for the sake of making it tileable. Yes. It's not like I have some sort of OCD or something.
-
It's intended as an endgame setup that is tiled according to one's needs so I didn't bother with a no waste, but feel free to add one if needed.
-
Though the ratio is supposed to be correct, the setup struggles at more than 55 fluid/s per turbine for some reason. (The Heat Exchangers aren't producing quite enough steam.) So remember to scale up once you are around that point.
