In response to reddit post https://www.reddit.com/r/factorio/comments/1hldgq8/advice_from_veteran_players_needed/, I demonstrated how the concept of left right belts could solve an input problem using direct insertion to feed a line of Electric Engine Units for robot frames. If combinator marked lines are replaced with the correct materials and meet throughput, design should feed. Design shows limited upgrade potential if expanded; think about the effects of beacon on this design carefully.
As a demonstration though it shows some merit. All work done on yellow belts and with wood telephone poles. Tier 3 assemblers can be made tier 2 assemblers. So it demonstrates the sort of optimization that can benefit the early game while "any" production beats "future" production.
A production test showed that an earlier demo put pipes and gears onto the steel line, as one was right next to another and I made a mistake.
