Addon for DocJade's The Automall and possibly others too if the crafting machine doesn't lock on to a recipe permanently. It needs to give up after a while if the fluid supplied isn't the one required.
Allows you to craft fluid dependant recipe.
Features:
- No supply pipe leak when switching recipe. (hopefully)
- 6 Tanks to reuse previous recipe's fluid.
- Prioritize fluid in the tank over supply pipe.
- No fluid leftover in pumps.
- Automatic emergency pump to purge last tank if all 7 tanks are full and recipe require a fluid not currently available in the tanks.
Set-up:
- If using DocJade's Automall remove all the fluid condition in the decider combinator with the 2 "Anything" signal to enable crafting recipe that need fluid. Do not remove the Anything condition.
- Use 2 separate green wire to connect each decider combinator with "Water" signal to Assembler/other crafting machine.
- Check the read crafting machine's ingredients box.
- Connect supply fluid to the top pump, there's 17 pump 1 for each fluid type excluding space-only one, lava, fluoroketone (hot) and plasma.
Limitations:
- Limited by speed of pump.
- Switching between different recipe can cause all 6 tanks to be filled quickly if switching between recipe quickly that require different fluid.
- Limited to 7 different fluids at a time: 6 in Tanks and 1 from supply. Limit yourself to 6 to be 100% it works.
- Limit supply to 7 (6 to be safe) fluids type and add more copy of the fluid switcher with leftover fluid type or manually empty a tank to free space.
- If 2 tank have the same fluid but are separated you can merge them by using a recipe that require said fluid.
- Doesn't work for recipe with 2 fluid ingredients.
- Pump to purge last tank is set-up but doesn't go anywhere, it only get activated if you try to craft a recipe with a fluid that's not in any tank and all of them are full. It will de-activate when the last tank is empty. You have to plug it into something if you plan to have more than 6 or 7 types of fluid in the switcher. I would suggest either into a external tank plugged into your fluid supply with a pump or possibly multiple tank/pump combo to allow multiple different fluid. Really you have to figure out this part by yourself sorry.
