Ye olde alien zapper station. I use this outpost to keep enemies away from my main base and discovering new ore patches.
The outpost measures in at 18x18 tiles and leaves you with some building space.
It consists of:
- Twenty laser turrets;
- A two block thick wall, which surrounds the entire outpost;
- A gate, for access to the outpost;
- A big pole, so electricity can be fed from your base to the outpost easily;
- Three substations;
- A roboport;
- A radar;
- Four lamps;
- Concrete flooring (of course, this is optional).
