I use a blueprint mod to mirror them for left and right versions and they all work except blue so I provided a left and right version for that one. I also tried to keep them all around the same size.
They are all tileable (you just have to remove the inputs from the bottom) except I havent done yellow yet, some of the science packs are slow and take a bit to pick up, but everything should be 100% efficient to work 24/7.
So I decided to add my little module research center I made, it can support more labs, but hopefully it'll get you started. Its not really tileable unless you mess with it a bit.
