This compact square shaped mall contains mostly everything you need for mid to late game; a few items have been left out. This mall is based on logistics bots with the inputs marked by functionless constant combinators on the left side.
For this Mall to work, you need general building materials in logistics chests. Logistics bots will bring in the required materials and place them in specified requester chests.
Most items are limited to one stack, more common items stack higher. Rare items like armor, armor items, weapons, and vehicles are limited. Nuclear reactors are set to stock up to four reactors.
Artillery shells, atomic bombs, nuclear fuel, defender bots, uranium ammunition, and other munitions are also produced in the mall.
Some requester chests have excess materials, while some assembling machines have modules. This allows you to replenish certain items faster. The modules can optionally be removed before placing the blueprint by right clicking the blueprint to edit it, then right clicking the module icons on the top to remove them.
This mega mall blueprint fits well within a 2x2 grid space making it very compact.
After building this mega mall it is recommended to delete all your other storage chests in your network, so everything is sent to the mall for storage in the appropriate filtered chest.
Updated 6/30/2019:
- Changed how item stacks are limited by wiring inserters to item storage chests. Previously items were limited mostly by blocking off storage chest spaces. As a result, most preset stack sizes can now be changed by the inserter feeding an item's assembling machine.
- Unblocked the spaces in each item's storage chest, allowing for extra items to be stored in the chest for example after a deconstruction/ upgrade project. This allows you to use less storage chests overall and prevents you from creating extra items when not needed. Each item's chest can hold the set number of stacks to be created by the mall, plus extras once the set number is already reached.
- Used regular inserters when possible
- Adjusted modules used in assembling machines
- Adjusted requester chest stack sizes
- Rocket Fuel is now available through a Buffer Chest. To access this, set your desired Requester Chests to "Request from buffer chests" in order to take these.
Updated 12/28/2019:
