Controls pairs of miners and haulers with one hauler servicing each miner. Choose a miner, a hauler, a depot, a parking spot and a zone to mark the ore and it'll take care of the rest. Uses a timer to keep the UPS load to a minimum.
Configuration (Consult the screenshot)
- Blue Main configuration of each miner/hauler pair.
- Green Timer. Adjust the number in the decider combinator to change the total number of ticks per loop.
- Yellow Parking and depot zones. Select the zone shape/colour used to mark depots and parking spots. Defaults to black box for parking and black disc for depots.
- Red Total ore limits. Controls the total amount of each ore to keep stored in the logistics network. Replace the logistic interface with a circuit connection if desired.
Miner/Hauler Configuration (Blue rectangle in screenshot, add as many as needed)
- S Tick to activate on. I keep them 20 ticks apart but at least 10 is recommended.
- D Depot number. Uses the black disc zones by default. In the example black disc 5 marks the depot.
- P Parking spot number. Uses black box zones by default. In the example black box 5 marks the parking spot.
- Hauler ID Selects which hauler is assigned to this job.
- Mining Vehicle ID Selects which miner is assigned to this job. Use any Mining Vehicle ID from MK1 to MK5. Make sure to use the ID tags from the signals tab.
- Ore Marking Zone Used to mark the ore to be mined by this job. Can be any zone from the zones tab except those used for depots and parking spots. To assign multiple miners to the same zone shape/color use a different number. I use 1, 100, 200, 300 etc.
Algorithm
- Miner Sent to the selected zone.
- Zone Automatically removed if it contains no ore.
- Hauler Priority list, highest priority first.
- If hauler contains ore, go to depot.
- If hauler is low on fuel, go to depot.
- If miner contains more the 6000 ore, go to miner.
- If miner is low on fuel, go to miner.
- Otherwise go to parking spot.
