Description
A relatively inexpensive and efficient biofuel plant that produces 90 megawatts of power.
360kW of wind turbines are also included to ensure that the generators do not need to burn fuel in order to operate inserters/pumps/etc... necessary to maintain the system.
Without efficiency mods in the production facilities, the wood/fuel production process takes almost 45MW of juice to operate, so bootstrapping the system with only the wind power is not recommended. Most of this power draw is unfortunately from steam generation, so cannot be improved with mods.
With efficiency mods, and once the steam pipes have filled up, the operating draw on the system averages closer to 4.5MW.
The greenhouses mitigate all of the pollution produced by the fuel production process, but cannot combat the pollution output of actually burning the fuel for power. 6.5 air filters are required per plant stack to achieve carbon neutrality.
