Description
A book of space platform modules of varying widths as well as specific configurations of those modules into working vessels. Includes starter, basic inner system, Aquilo-capable and Edge of Solar System-capable classes. The basic inner system platforms can be upgraded from basic fuel/oxidizer recipes to advanced recipes in-place. None of the space platforms or modules in this book use any quality components.
Platforms are tested with all sciences (including the first level of infinite sciences) researched, which is:
- Weapon shooting speed 6
- Physical projectile damage 7
- Laser shooting speed 7
- Laser weapons damage 7
- Stronger explosives 7
- Railgun shooting speed 1
- Railgun damage 1
- Asteroid productivity 1
You may need to adjust the throttle controls of the platforms if your science level does not match.
Each of the fully integrated vessel classes has a few features:
- Throttle control to manage speed via pump duty cycle.
- Auto-feed of initial fuel and oxidizer to reduce manual intervention requirements.
- Asteroid chunk thresholds to maintain an evenly balanced sushi belt.
- Pre-flight checklist combinator to simplify schedule conditions.
Version 1.0.3 adds a Block 3 Sprinter-class configuration that uses foundries and tier 3 assemblers in the ammo section.
