As my factory expanded I needed to expand my tracks towards far away patches of ore. As some of my outposts began to starve I needed a solution. Therefore the most sensible thing would be a warehouse of some sorts. Thus came this elegant solution.
The infeed of the warehouse is for 2-4-2 bidirectional trains, and it's on the ID#16 network-- same as my mining outposts. The outfeed is for 1-4-1 bidirectional trains for internal supply of your factory.
The warehouse has quite a limited buffer, but the request values of the infeed are high enough to balance that out.
