This is a Blueprint of one section of the sorting system. When setting it up, you need to specify the maximum number of item stacks in the chest (48 max) and the item itself.
Once a particular chest is full, any extra items will go further down the conveyor belt. Blueprint is placed strictly from left to right.
The combinator carries no technical function and can be removed after installation. The sixth yellow chest is needed to easily connect each section to each other with a green wire. Once you have installed all the sections you need, the sixth chest can be removed. The green wire is not used on its own, but is included in the Blueprint so you don't have to pull it yourself if you need to.
The size of one section is 15x5 tiles
