Description
I created a Game Time Clock which correctly uses mod/div to provide outputs for:
-
cumulative ticks
-
cumulative seconds
-
cumulative minutes
-
cumulative hours
-
cumulative days
-
current tick (0-59)
-
current second (0-59)
-
current minute (0-59)
-
current hour (0-23)
To set up a timer every 14 seconds, attach it to the cumulative seconds and use modulus 14. To set up a timer whenever the clock says "14 seconds" attach it to the current time seconds, and use a decider = 14.
As the timer uses a tight single-decider loop to calculate time, it doesn't have any tick latency resulting in offsets over long periods, and messing with the combinators other than that one won't lose track of time.
Now in 2.0!
- Stores days (tested up to 300)
- This version includes Nixie Tubes (which automatically aren't there if you don't have the mod on)
- This version includes a few Pushbuttons which can be used to adjust the time to correct for how long it's been since you started, adding and subtracting days, hours, minutes, and seconds.
- Now almost works as a countdown timer too when given negative numbers.
