Fully layerable and upgradeable city blocks with trains
Includes everything you need to stamp down the infrastructure for a new area. City blocks based around 4 roboports - sized precisely to connect to the next roboports expanding your construction and logistic network. NOTE: Bot based factories may want to change this design to exclude roboports in some areas to break up the logistics networks.
All blueprints are positioned relative to the global grid and are the same size allowing for building blocks anywhere and having them naturally line up
Everything you need is in this one book - which contains 3 sub books to allow you to split it up in your own inventory if you choose.
City Block Book
- Power only Includes just the power lines for a city block with red and green wires pre-strung
- Full Skeleton Includes power, roboport, radar, and lights at each power pole
- Solar A full scale solar blueprint that is "close enough" to ratio (it's a bit shy on the accumulators). Does not carry red and green signals and will require removal of power poles placed by adjacent blocks in order to fully place - does not use the same power structure as the other blocks, but will interface just fine
- Stone Brick Stone brick path placed precisely on the borders of the blocks - 4 tiles wide to allow yellow undergrounds
- Concrete Concrete version of the stone brick
upgrade planner can be used to easily make other path types
Rail Book
Fully left-hand drive, fully in place upgradeable from straight to T to + and from 2 to 4 lanes.
- 2 lane straight
- 2 Lane T
- 2 Lane +
- 4 lane straight
- 4 Lane w/ 2 lane spur line
- 4 lane w/ 2 lane crossing line
- 4 lane T
- 4 lane +
- Power line - red/green circuits carried along the length of the track
- Power curve - can be layered to make a T or Cross
- Power interface - converts from city block power layout to train power layout - used at the ends when entering leaving a city block area.
**All intersections are reductions of the 4 lane + to guarantee full upgradeability. 4 lane variants only have 2 turning lanes, and use crossover tracks to allow for the extra lanes to use the intersection - there is not capacity for 2 simultaneous lefts with 2 simultaneous inside rights. That is possible with other intersection designs, but this was designed with upgradeability but simple 2 lane intersections in mind.
