This is version 1 of my mining blueprint book developed in my "Kitch's Factorio Blueprint Book" YouTube series
I've always used a compact mining layout in Factorio, the goal being to maximize the miners per tile and get the ore out as fast as possible. However, after observing some large patches, I've kind of realized mining a patch isn't necessarily a one size fits all problem.
This book contains a compact setup, as well as a sparer layout that allows for some options when covering the ore patches. The idea being, the smaller the ore patch you are covering, the more compact mining setup you will want to saturate the belt without having a large amount of idle miners.
This blueprint was designed as a part of my 'Kitch's Blueprint Book' series on YouTube.
