Description
This Syngas Plant will supply 57k/min if configured as in the screen shot. The book contains the blueprints required to construct the columns in the array.
- The 20 Coke Plant furnaces require feeding with 2 red belts of coal to make the coke which supplies the array.
- The first step of the Process is the column of Distillators whcih convert the coke into Coalgas, Tar and Ash
- The Ash sent away for disposal or conversion.
- The Coalgas is sent to the next column for processing to Syngas
- The Tar is sent on to the column after for further processing
- The first column of Gasifiers converts the Coalgas to Syngas and Tar
- Ash is sent away for disposal
- Syngas is sent to the array output tanks.
- Tar is sent on to the next column.
- The second column of Gasifiers converts the Tar into Coalgas and Flue Gas.
- Ash is again sent away
- Coalgas is sent back to be converted by the first column of gasifiers
- Fluegas is sent on to the next column
- The column of filters uses the input of activated carbon to convert the Fluegas into Syngas
- The third column of Gasifiers converts surplus Coalgas using the process desribed in #3
- The fourth column of Gasifiers converts the tar from #6 to Coalgas and Fluegas and feeds them back into the system to make more Syngas
Further Syngas Gasifier columns can be added to process surplus Coalgas if required. I have so far added two more columns, resulting in 90+ Syngas/min and Coalgas was still backing up in the system. As well as a supply of Coke and Activated Carbon, you will need to provide a water supply. Production stats suggest that 3 offshore pumps would be required to feed the array as pictured in the screenshot. Storage tanks outside the array are recommended to deal with surplus Tar and Coalgas, and to hold the water.
