Description
Angels/Bobs Bootstrap base meant to get you to Tier2 (Basic Electronic Boards) with little fuss.
This particular version is meant to use Deadlock's Stackers so that each belt has a much larger natural buffer This won't help you at all with throughput super early, but after you've got all of this setup (and I recommend using Bob's Mall of America or something similar for a mall this will let you not have to extend your bus to 2-4 lines of iron to keep up :) Just have a train or whatever alternate methods also feed into wherever your input 'stacker' is.
I intend to tighten this upwhere I can as one of my main fusses with similar things I've found is that they're so expensive that I've found myself hard pressed to get any of it up early enough to be called a bootstrap, but I fear that I've fallen for the same trap.
If you have any suggestions please post them! I'm sure I've messedup, I'm sure I'm not as efficient as possible, this could be way better. Feel free to edit and repost too, I don't care.
Mods you should have for this to work:
- Bobs (All)
- Angels (All)
- Deadlock's Loaders and Stackers (and the mod to make it work with Bob's/Angel's)
Rows should be labeled but if they aren't, from the top:
- Blank (2nd Iron later?), Iron, Copper, Steel
- Wood, Coal, Stone, Stone Bricks
- Lead, Tin, Coke, Carbon
- Basic circuit board, Basic electronic board, Electronic Component
I'll most likely make a new one when I've got it setup for ECB(T3 circuits).
I've tried where possible to make things as tileable as possible, as you will certainly need to increase production on both chips as you make a higher tier to ensure you still have decent production.
There is a matching production bootstrap meant for early ore setup as well, just enough to get me going.
Raw ore input to match: https://factorioprints.com/view/-LGrhmO1nl_XOPBWGpdz
The input does not have the stacking, you will want to consider if you want to add that near source of raw production, or near start of belt for ease of use. This works well as an early buffer as well as with DL's loaders it holds effectively 2 stacks in itself as well. There is no benefit in keeping a chest full of stacked as opposed to unstacked, so if you are going to add a buffer, do it before stacking IMO (That way you can also disable hand-unstacking and clear up some room in the crafting window)
