a undersized smelting system I have to make iron plates. the iron ore comes in is Processed MK2 > Pellet MK1 > Blast Furnace MK2 > Induction Furnace MK2 > Casting MK2. Below it I have the top 2 Blast Furnaces as Cobalt and bottom 2 as Nickel. The Cobalt requires Carbon and the Nickel requires Carbon Monoxide. so IF i calculated this correctly for every 12 ore I should get 1296 plates with the current setup.

I could add more Casting machines as they are not putting a dent in the molten iron. I would need roughly 72 casting machines in order to drain the molten iron. Link to the math Iron Smelting
