Smart loading and unloading stations, made with compact circuits for my K2SO play-through. After placing the station, open the compact circuits user-defined properties (default: Ctrl+Left-click on the processor) and select the cargo or fluid you're transporting. Then open the train station and select use red circuit on the dynamic naming window (currently the setting is not preserved in blueprints).
There is also a display plate included that you can use to show the cargo/fluid for the station.
Initial setup:
- Import the blueprint book.
- Move the compact circuits sub-book which contains the model library to your inventory.
- Place an empty processor into your world.
- Enter the circuit editor (default: Left-click on the processor), then click on the Models button.
- Take the model library blueprint book from your inventory in your hand.
- Click on the BP Import button.
- Exit the editor. The stations are now ready to be placed freely.
Needed mods:
- Compact circuits
- Display Plates - Ground Signs & Map Markers - Forked
- fCPU (used the RUN/HLT signals from this mod)
- Krastorio 2 Spaced Out
- Long Storage Tanks (mod settings:
tank sizes: "2; 4", size of train fluid wagon: 50000, storage multiplier: 4) - Null Item (used instead of the deconstruction planner to block unused splitter lanes)
- Programmable Train Stop Naming (for dynamic train stop naming, no more renaming hassle when placing many stations)
- Schall Virtual Signal (used some math signals from this mod)
- Stack Combinator (Redux) (used to calculate stack sizes for the cargo, no more pesky manual stack size selection, which can be error prone)
The smart stations are also compatible with Virtual Train Monitor (VTM). The following settings should be set for it to work:
- Add
signal-outputto requester patterns. - Add
signal-inputto provider patterns.
