A series of train track templates that provide fairly high throughput tracks for early to late game.
A description of each track follows:
| Blueprint Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Rail Turn | Provides a 90 degree angled turn, can be rotated to fit any orientation. |
| Straight Track Loop | A bi-directional, 2 lane train track with a loop for turning around and chain signals to prevent crashing. |
| Track T Junction | A bi-directional, 2 lane train track configured in a T junction at a 90 degree angle. |
| Track 4 Way Junction | A bi-directional, 2 lane train track configured in an X junction at a 90 degree angles. |
| Straight Track | Simple high throughput 2 lane train tracks. |
| Track Diversion | A simple on and off ramp system for gaining access to the larger train track system. |
| Train Stop | An 8 long train stop capable of on and off loading trains up to 8 pieces in length. |
All train tracks have corresponding pins on them for alignment using big electric poles, these poles should overlap and be blue when you place the tracks for straight rails, and you should line any turns or junctions up at edges for proper alignment. Some trial and error may be required. The benefit to using big electric poles for alignment pegs, is that you get a fully integrated electrical grid with redundancy in case of biter attack.
Like legos, they all fit together nicely and allow for fast and complex railways to be built, for players who play casually or don't focus on very long (8+ piece) trains, this is a fantastic starter pack of train pieces for rapid development of your own train network.
