I use this as a sort of buffer for trains incoming to a single set of unload stations (2-4 usually) In my train stations, I name every wait station the same and the trains simply fill up the next available until full. Then on to their next destination.
My trains normally are only 2 wagons long, but you can use up to 4 wagons, I think, on this blueprint.
