Just feed scrap to the input belts, heavy oil at the pipe next to the plants, and power. The maximum science it can produce is 900spm if fed with enough scrap and/or enough recycling productivity. It will produce science and launch rockets by itself.
You can also use the ice and the fuel produced to make on-site power if you want.
Only normal items used, you can replace the modules with tier 2 if you don't have them yet.
Not the prettiest design, but it works.
