A design for a first, 400 tons freight carrier for the inner planets.
- No quality;
- It absolutely needs blue belts to work;
- I recommend having physical damage researched at level 6 minimum;
- 27 Cargo bays = 599 slots (-10 used for ammo);
- Speed controlled pumps for fuel (at 250 km/s, so it mean in practice a speed between 245 and 255);
- The collectors are filtered individually to balance their storage and are used to add a little bit of storage in addition of the main sushi belt;
- Stores up to 1k ammo in its cargo bay in addition of the sushi belt;
- Is ready for departure when at least 500 ammo are stored and 15k of each propellant is reached. It will take between 120 and 240 seconds once in orbit to do so.
- Some lights are used to display the current state of the platform;
- It will run with a small electrical deficit in orbit around Fulgora if both the ammo and the fuel factories are active at the same time, but the acumulators will be enough to compensate until it's full again, unless you make it do crazy shenanigans and deplete too much ammo and fuel. And even so, the production will just slow down a little bit. So no problem whatsoever to stay indefinitely in Fulgora's orbit, it will just retard its departure if it's accumulators are depleted. If you REALLY want to, you can adjust the amonth of storage bays and add some solar panels.
The prerequisites and its size can make it look a bit overkill and intimidating to build for a first ship, but I promise you, use just a little bit more ressources to build this ship rather than a barebone one, and you will be able carry a lot of stuff safely around the solar system with it, it will still be relevant long in your game. The vast amount of storage makes it fit to either do a regular line between two planets or a loop all around the four inner planets.
