Description
This system has two controls for efficiency. Steam is controlled to a set (currently set at 15K) point and also adjustable. Turbine usage is controlled by pumps to 1% of usage.
To start this system you much do 2 things, Attach Iron ore and Uranium or to the Kovarex system. Add 1 (just 1) fuel cell to each reactor
At this point the system will self start.
I use the radio receiver mod to avoid running red/green wires everywhere. Also, I have used a few solar panel mods, just swap those out for normal solar panels.
I find that accumulators equal to produced power help smooth out power fluctuations, but are not absolutely necessary,
Also, I would use some other source of power for the Kovarex system to keep any chance of a brown out from stopping the system.
This system has run without fail for about 6 months without any brown outs. I do use solar panels an accumulators for Kovarex power.
The solar panels within each set of 8 reactors are only enough to run a few roboports. Letting too many robots within this system will cause the roboports to run out of power and starve your reactors. I completely isolate my power system from anything else, and only need about 50 robots to assure the reactors are fed.
