UPDATED 07/20/2022 Factorio 1.1 update. 04/13/18 now every blueprint is tileable in all four directions (except the long and tall steels).

- Bot Smelting Tileable V2 in the picture = Smelting (Alt) [Bot] in the blueprint
- The maximum number of beacons that can surround a smelter is 12; Smelting (Alt) [Bot] has 11.
- Smelting (Alt) [Bot] has 100% space efficiency. Smelting (Iron + Steel) [Bot] has 95% space efficiency.
- Smelting (Alt) [Bot] produces 3K/m iron, and Smelting (Iron + Steel) [Bot] produces 3.5K/m iron in the same amount of area.
