A programmable factory capable of building any recipe with minimal configuration.
On the right you can see the brain, each pair of constant + arithmetic combinator stores a blueprint recipe and outputs a multiple of its contents into the request network (red cable), and the roboport reads the available supply network, which is substracted from the demand before outputting it to the production cells.
On the left you can see a production cell, these can be blueprinted and repeated as much as you need, each assembler has three programmable parts:
- The constant combinator generates a request for the parts the assembler needs to build one of its recipe.
- The arithmetic combinator set to divide receives the number of items of the assembler's recipe that the brain has requested, divides it by the recipe output count (if it outputs multiple items) and the number of assemblers making the same thing, then outputs the number of items the local assembler is required to build.
- The second arithmetic combinator takes the signals produced by the constant combinator, multiplies that by the number of items requested by the first arithmetic combinator and outputs that both to the supply chest to set requests and back to the red network as demand, triggering other production cells to build the required items if supply is insufficient.
If you set up your whole recipe chain in these production cells you can request for 100 blue belts and all the needed items will be requested, produced and delivered until your order is fulfilled. Not recommended for high demand items such as circuits, batteries or steel, but rather construction and combat supply items.
