This is a Gigabase-compatible blueprint book of Gigabus-connected factories. Blueprints are included for the following:
- Smelting with electric furnaces and productivity modules
- Green circuit production
- Coal liquefaction
More to come (hopefully). Each factory is structured as an 8-chunk tall and N-chunks wide repeated grid of a single-chunk factory design, where N is the number of chunks needed for a single row of the factory to consume a full express belt of input. Inputs and outputs are sent to and from each factory on its right side, with each of the 8 rows of the factory consuming and producing one belt of each type of input and output.
The book includes a series of bus connector blueprints, which connect to the Gigabus's 8-lane inputs and outputs and routes them to a factory. Each factory blueprint's name includes a numerical pattern that says which tiles it expects each input or output to be on.
For example, the coal liquefaction blueprint name includes the string 1-2-5/4-5-6, indicating that it accepts three types of inputs and produces three types of outputs. The inputs are received on the 1st, 2nd, and 5th tile of the upper right input receiver area, and the outputs are produced on the 4th, 5th, and 6th tiles of the lower right output producer area. To hook the inputs up to the bus use the I1, I2, and I5 blueprints, and to hook up the outputs use the O4, O5, and O6 blueprints.
This naming pattern does not say which type of input or output each lane is expected to be, and it is not consistently applied to all blueprints, so some detective work is required. Hopefully I'll get around to making that clearer eventually.
