I made this on 1/2/25.
Features:
- you can request however much of whatever you want and the combinators will ensure no overflow. If you request at an outpost, anything, from anywhere (local planet or elsewhere) you requested it, will show up to your exact outpost, eventually ..
- comes with smart recycler that empties out unwanted items (eg, when you change the section request)
- compatible with space age requests! Now, you can simply adjust requests from planets and the local train distributor will auto-update!
- blinking lights indicate sections that are active
- train station will close automatically if it has everything it wants
- no more fishbooks or manual setting of filters! this array just knows what you want so don't try it!
notes:
- constant combinator requests based on total item count, not stack size
- if testing out, make sure train is in the station and set to automatic, not manual
- arrays are set to ascending to pick lower quantity products from a section first
best usage:
- 4 sections for 4 other planets
- limit section size to 30 items to account for every item in the set
- Each section should correspond to desired items from a given planet
- these sections in turn should be requested from cargo drop pad
- now, if you ever just want something, just request it, once. The array will ensure smart cycling of new trash and make room for your request!
- never request less than at least one stack size of an item
- avoid a section with a large spread of requested counts (eg, 20 chemical plants and 10K calcite) (will still work but will be very little, if any, requests on the chemical plants, to avoid overflow)
- avoid a section with just one request (will request 8 stacks of this at a minimum since no other items requested to limit overflow) (train will still avoid overflowing!)
